$25,000 per year for three years

The Harry A Merlo Foundation has been a significant partner to Catholic Charities of Oregon. Over the years, the Foundation has supported our agency’s mission to serve the most vulnerable Oregonians in countless ways. Catholic Charities and Caritas Housing, a subsidiary of CCO, are proud to call the Merlo Foundation a lead partner in our latest capital campaign to build The Annex, an emergency housing facility on our main campus that would prevent homelessness for vulnerable individuals and families. Because of the Foundation’s support, CCO will be opening The Annex in the summer of 2022, and will continue its mission to lift families out of housing instability and onto a path of permanent housing and financial stability.

Impact Northwest

Program Grant

$5,000

Single Year Award

Harry A. Merlo Foundation’s grant has helped us fulfill our mission to prevent homelessness. The funding has provided vital basic needs to low-income families to keep them safely in their homes right now. Even more, these funds have strengthened our capacity to work with each individual family to provide ongoing upstream, wrap-around support that will help these vulnerable families stay safely housed over time. Thank you for your partnership as we work to provide long-term solutions to our community’s homelessness crisis!
