Dove Lewis Emergency Animal Hospital

Capital Grant

$50,000

Multiple Year Award: $10,000 per year for five years

Thanks to the Harry A Merlo Foundation we were able to double our clinical footprint, allowing us to take care of more pets (and their people) than ever before. Our expansion couldn’t have come at a better time. During the COVID pandemic we utilized every square inch of our newly renovated space to safely social distance our staff and increase our capacity to serve more pets.

The Merlo Foundation’s generous and ongoing support of construction on Eastwood Ranch Foundation’s new state-of-the-art Animal Rescue Facility and Adoption Center in Agoura, CA has been pivotal to our progress. This facility will allow ERF’s animal rescue to save hundreds more dogs and cats every year from high-kill shelters, while enriching the community with volunteer opportunities, spay/neuter programs and much more.
